Life Photo Album

On December 23rd, I left Truro to embark on a a 9 day driving expedition across the country ----- the beginning of a four month journey in San Francisco.  It ended up being an amazing trip, as I was lucky enough to see each of my siblings along the way.

My first stop was in Pittsburgh with my brother and his family for Christmas.  It could not have been a better place to be, enjoying the energy of a looming delivery from Santa.  Tim and Jackie’s home was festive and warm and provided a great backdrop for the holiday.  I then continued West to Cleveland, where I had Christmas dinner and an overnight with Sally and Doug.  It was great to see their home (and Keeper), where I again was enveloped in a warm hospitality, great food and a wonderful connection.  My final family stop was in Eagle Colorado, where I was able to connect with the entire Plain family.  Unfortunately I arrived on “Tacky Sweater Night”, but I eventually got comfortable with my Hello Kitty sweater vest.  Other than Scout eating 5 candy bars from Terry’s ski stash, it was a great visit with the gang in Eagle.

I arrived in San Francisco on the 31st, just in time to bring in the New Year and celebrate my formal landing on the other coast.  My rental cottage is located in the Castro (Duboce Triangle), and is a perfect set-up for my time here.   Scout has already settled into the neighborhood and walks the streets as if he owns the territory.
