I had the true blessing of sharing my life's journey for 13 and a half years with a beautiful 68 pound Chocolate Lab..... my Maddie-girl.   I had to say good-bye to my girl on November 4, 2004.   She left this world peacefully, looking directly into my eyes with the same piercing and loving look I experienced with her each and every day.  I never could have imagined how much I would learn and receive from an animal. Maddie will always be my guide for what it truly means to be accepting and unconditional.
