LIFE PHOTO ALBUM

Scout came to us from Moose Lake Labs in Ottawa Canada on September 1, 2005.  While we were initially slotted for a female pup, it became clear we were destined to get this fun-loving, happy-to-be-alive boy.  He is named after the character from “To Kill a Mockingbird”.  Scout has been a welcomed addition to the family and provides much laughter with his curious energy and endearing sociability with other animals, people and any inanimate object. Chris coined his nickname “Scooch” because of the way he tucks in his hind quarters when he runs playing with other dogs.  He and Gussy have a unique bond that clearly goes back to their early days together.
