Life Photo Album

After many years of living in the city, I was finally able to create my own vegetable garden with my new life out on Cape Cod.  We cleared some space (the only real flat area on our 2.5 acres, other than our driveway) and brought in 40 yards of a rich soil / compost mixture to create 750 square feet of growing space.  While it was a lot of work to get it going, it proved to be a wonderful medicine to an otherwise stressful summer with work.  I planted sweet corn, multiple varieties of tomatoes, straight 8 cucumbers, bell peppers, sunflowers, calendula and an array of herbs.  I learned a lot and will apply those lessons to my next planting.
